Over the past few months I’ve discovered some new skincare products that are now up there with my all time favourites.

Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil

20ml | £19.50

Rosehip oil is something I’ve seen popping up all over the Internet recently, and after putting Trilogy’s Very Gentle Calming Serum (full review here) to the test, I decided to try out their ever-popular rosehip oil. The oil contains essential fatty acids that improve skin hydration, elasticity and assist with skin cell renewal and repair. I’ve been using this every night over the past month, simply massaging in 2-3 drops, and I can already feel a difference. It leaves my skin feeling much more refreshed and nourished, I haven’t noticed a huge change to any scars yet but hopefully I’ll see a difference with continued use.

Nuxe Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm

15g | £9.50

One thing I’m never without is a lip balm. My firm favourite for the last few years has been Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream Balm, but when I ran out lately I purchased Nuxe’s Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm on a whim. This product is another brand bestseller and I’m in love!

Enriched with honey, Shea butter, grapefruit essence and precious plant oils - as you can imagine it smells and feels amazing. The formula is quite thick but creates a soft matte finish. My lips feel softer and haven’t been dry or cracked since I began using it. Definitely a must-have!

Mario Badescu Facial Spray with aloe herbs & rosewater

8oz | £11

I can’t imagine not including a facial mist in my skincare routine now. I often use Avène’s Thermal Spring Water throughout the day but one of my first steps always includes Mario Badescu’s facial spray. Its blend of fresh rosewater and herbal extracts instantly makes me feel awake and hydrated, which is desperately needed first thing in the morning! The rosewater has anti-inflammatory properties, helping to calm skin and maintain its pH balance. Quite often I am put off by the overpowering scent of rosewater products, however this is very fresh and subtle. The spray can also be used to set makeup but I primarily use it as a quick rejuvenating boost.

Clarins radiance-plus Golden Glow Booster

15ml | £20

As we’re approaching summer I'm increasingly finding myself desiring that sun kissed glow, and after hearing great things about Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster I finally decided to use my hard-earned Boots points to purchase a bottle myself.

I mix two drops in with my daily moisturiser every other day, and have noticed a subtle, even and natural glow. It’s completely odourless and incredibly easy to apply – perfect for those who prefer a fuss free skincare routine.
