 The Design Process

01

Book Your Spot

Once you’ve submitted your contact form, we’ll have a chat about your project. I’ll then send you a contract to sign and an invoice for a non-refundable 50% deposit to secure your spot in my calendar.

Your Homework

Before your project starts I’ll send you a brand questionnaire to complete, this will help us learn more about your brand values and target market. I’ll also ask you to create a Pinterest board to gather visual inspiration.

03

Creative Direction

I’ll start the project off with my brand discovery process, which will cover areas such as your project goals, what sets your brand apart, your target audience and visual inspiration.

Design Development

Here’s where things start to get exciting! I’ll design 3 logo concepts. Once your logo design is finalised we’ll then move on to creating your additional collateral, depending on the package you’ve chosen.

Brand Style Guide

When you’re 100% happy with everything I’ll create your brand style guide, featuring your recommended logo usage, font system and colour codes.

Launch!

Yay! Your project is now complete. Once I receive the remaining 50% payment I’ll send you all of your final files and you can finally show them off to the world!

 
 
 

Frequently asked questions

How does payment work?

I understand that hiring a designer can be a big investment! I intend to make payments as easy as possible. I kindly ask that you pay a non-refundable 50% deposit to secure your spot in my schedule and the remaining 50% once the final files are ready to hand over. Payment plans in 3 instalments are also available if required.

Do you have a logo-only package?

I don’t! I believe that branding is much more than just a logo, it’s about creating an experience that connects and converts with your clients/customers, which can only be achieved through a full branding package.

Why do I need a brand style guide?

A brand style guide is a booklet that outlines how your brand should be presented to the world - it’s basically your branding bible! It outlines logo usage, colour codes, your typography system and tips on how to use your social templates in the most effective way possible. It’s something your whole team will use to communicate your branding in a consistent manner.

What are the final files I’ll receive?

You will receive your logos in PNG, AI and EPS files. I will deliver everything via a GoogleDrive link.
