〰 Inika Organic Lip Tint | 3.2g | £13.18 〰

I first delved into Inika back in April when I tried out their compact blush puff pot, and I’d since had my eye on a few more of their 100% natural and cruelty-free products – especially their lipsticks and tints. I decided to try the Inika Lip Tint in the shade ‘Cosmic’, which is a product I wouldn’t typically go for.

Inika is recognisable for its sleek black and gold packaging, which accentuates their luxury natural brand identity. The Lip Tint* is encased in a slim and sturdy bullet, which is slightly taller than the average lipstick. There are three colours to choose from: Candy (a pale pink), Cherish (a deep plum), and Cosmic (a soft ruby red), which is the one I went for. These are only intended to give lips a subtle touch of colour, but they could easily be applied on top of lip liner for a deeper, glossier finish.

The product itself is very easy to apply, with a smooth and hydrating consistency that doesn’t feel too sticky. Straight away I noticed the fresh minty scent from the peppermint oil, which gives a tingling effect once applied, helping to stimulate circulation and ultimately enhance your lips. The added shea butter and coconut oil aid to moisturise lips and stop then from drying out, so you essentially get a 2-in-1 lip balm and beautiful colour. The understated rosy tint is perfect for summer days where you just want to boost your lip colour slightly.

I’m a big fan of highly pigmented lipstick so the lip tint is something a bit different for me. However, over summer I can see myself getting a lot of use out of this for those pared-down days.
